My School's Christmas

It was the real Christmas,
the Christmas of my school,
when we used to warm our hands,
besides the sparkling burning fuel.

The Christmas Bells were real,
even the heart could listen to the sound,
the prayers were real,
even the very li'l ones knelt on the ground.

The Christmas Carols were real,
even Jesus was forced to hum,
the singing had the frequency,
to make our body numb!

And the Santa wasnt any actor,
it was Saint Nicholas for us,
an the whole lot imagined,
he had just landed from his airbus.

Believe me it was real Christmas,
Still I can feel the warmth of the burning fuel,
but my hands get cold,
coz those days are gone,I am no more in my school.

Still the bells ring in my ears,
but my heart refuses to hear them,
and this intelligent mind tells me,
those are not tinkled for you anymore, man!

I listen the Carols on TV,
but my body doesnt become numb,
someone tells me its because,
Jesus has ceased to hum.

No more Santa and the wrappers,
the wrappers wrap only sorrow,
no one can get back those days,
no body can fill all thats gone hollow.

and here I sit beside the window,
waiting for the past to return,
and still when the dawn breaks,
I wait for that old Christmas Sun!

I dont Cry..

I dont cry,
but I dont know why,
tears come out of my eyes.

Still the dust is there,
and the clouds come near,
but the rain refuses to pour.

Still the blood is flowing,
and its growing,
but the heart refuses to beat.

Still the the eyes are shut,
and I dont know why but,
the mind refuses to sleep.

Still there is air,
and the sea is so near,
but the world refuses to live!
