Chirpy-the endangered bird

Here I fly,
fly with the wind,
and I fly alone,
because people say my parents are extinct.

I am the only one of my kind,
and I feel proud,
wherever I go,
I manage to gather crowd.

From the blue sky above,
I fly into the deep blue sea,
and as I fly I give a kiss,
to every lovely green tree.

I have no fear,
but I fear the men,
they can kill me,
not sure where and when.

As they killed my parents,
as the people say,
it was man who blew the wind,
with which they got away.

They use their kites,
to cut our wings,
doesnt God know,
they do such things?

They love to hunt,
and pierce our lungs,
I would have managed to stop them,
only if I had a toungue.

In the biology lab,
they slit our throats apart,
dont they have mercy,
to use us for art and craft.

Thus,though I fly,
though I am free,
though I fly,
from tree to tree.

I fear the men,
and I know they would make me slain,
As they killed my parents,
as the people say.
